007 First Light™

// FAQ

What kind of gameplay does 007 First Light have?

007 First Light is a third person stealth action adventure from IO Interactive, the studio behind Hitman. Players take control of a younger James Bond before he earns his 00 status, mixing stealth infiltration, gadget use, social manipulation, driving sequences, melee combat, and cinematic shootouts. The game encourages creative mission approaches rather than pure run and gun gameplay.

What PC specs do you need for 007 First Light?

According to IO Interactive, the recommended specs for 1080p 60FPS include an Intel Core i5 13500 or Ryzen 5 7600, an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT, 32GB RAM, and an NVMe SSD with at least 80GB free storage. For players wanting full path tracing and DLSS 4.5 features at high settings, RTX 50 Series GPUs are being heavily promoted by NVIDIA.

Will 007 First Light be open world?

Not fully, at least based on what’s been shown so far. 007 First Light appears to follow the modern Hitman formula, featuring large sandbox style missions with multiple ways to complete objectives, rather than a single massive open world map. Players will reportedly travel across multiple global locations, using stealth, gadgets, social engineering, and combat to approach missions in different ways.

What is DLSS and why does everyone keep talking about it?

DLSS is basically free performance… but smarter.

It renders the game at a lower resolution, then uses AI to upscale it back up, giving you higher frame rates without sacrificing image quality.

In real terms?
- Higher FPS
- Smoother gameplay
- Ability to turn on heavier graphics settings

What’s the difference between DLSS and ray tracing (RTX)?

They do completely different jobs:

Ray tracing (RTX) = makes lighting, shadows and reflections look insanely realistic
DLSS = helps you run those features without killing performance

Think of it like this:

RTX makes the game look better.
DLSS makes it playable at those settings.

Will an RTX 50 Series GPU future-proof me for games like this?

Nothing is ever truly “future-proof”… but this is about as close as it gets.

With features like:

- DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation

- Advanced ray tracing and path tracing

- AI-driven rendering

- You’re not just buying for today’s games, you’re buying for what’s coming next.
