THE BUILD
It would be easier to choose whatever components were cheapest that week. It would be easier to build the PC, run a quick benchmark, seal the box and send it out. That isn’t how we want to build computers. Every Helix is assembled by hand at Utopia in Kilmarnock, cable managed properly and tested as a complete system before it leaves us. Not because it’s the quickest way. Because it’s the way we’d want our own PC built.
BEFORE YOU BUY
Yes. The Helix is a starting point rather than a fixed build. The configurator lets you change every major part, and the price updates as you go.
Because expensive doesn’t always mean faster in games. Helix is about balance. We choose components that do their job properly, then spend more where you’ll actually notice it. The result is a faster gaming PC for your budget, without cutting corners on quality.

That depends on the graphics card you choose. Helix can be configured for high refresh 1080p gaming, 1440p gaming or 4K. We’ll show recommended GPU choices and real world performance to help you match the PC to your monitor and the games you play.
Absolutely. Helix uses standard desktop components and is designed with future upgrades in mind. Graphics cards, memory and storage can all be upgraded later, and because it’s a Utopia PC, you can always ask us for advice before making a change.
