Utopia for business
Business VoIP phone systems that just work.
Modern business calling without the traditional phone system headache. Keep your existing numbers, use desk phones, mobiles or computers, and let our team take care of the setup, migration and support.
Cloud calling, business broadband, WiFi and network security, designed and supported as one system.
The phone system
Your phone system shouldn't care where your desk is.
Traditional phone systems were designed around a building. People now work from desks, laptops, mobiles, home and more than one office. A cloud phone system lets your numbers, extensions and call routing follow the people instead of the telephone socket.
Tied to the building
Phone line into the building
Hardware in a cupboard
One desk phone, one socket
Out of the office means out of reach
Tied to the person
Your business number
Cloud PBX handles the routing
Desk phone, mobile or laptop
Office, home or anywhere with a connection
Nothing about this has to be disruptive. In most cases the phone on the desk still looks like a phone — it is everything behind it that changes.

How it fits together
One system. One team to call about it.
Utopia designs it
We work out what your business actually needs, configure the users, routing and handsets around it, and plan the move.
Tinkle powers it
A modern cloud communications platform runs the calls, the numbers and the routing behind the scenes.
Utopia supports it
When you need something changed or something isn't right, you speak to us. Not a call centre somewhere else.
At your desk
Yes, you can still have a proper phone.
Some people love an app. Some people just want to pick up a phone. We use modern Yealink business handsets to give your team the familiarity of a desk phone with the flexibility of a cloud phone system.

We'll recommend the right handset for how each person actually works, and configure it before it reaches the desk.
The whole connection
A great VoIP system still needs a great network.
We aren't just reselling telephone extensions. If the broadband, WiFi or network underneath your phones needs attention too, we can design and support that as part of the same job. If it doesn't, we'll say so.

Moving phone system is a project we run, not a job we hand you. Here is what it actually looks like from your side.
Tell us what you have
We look at your existing numbers, users, broadband and how calls currently flow through the business.
Design the new system
We configure users, hunt groups, auto attendants, voicemail and call routing around how your business actually works.
Move your numbers
We coordinate the migration of your existing telephone numbers wherever possible, rather than asking your customers to learn a new one.
Go live
We configure the handsets and apps, move the numbers and help your team get comfortable with the new system.
Our job is to make sure it isn't.
One team
Your VoIP provider shouldn't stop at the phone.
We've been looking after business technology in Ayrshire since 1994. The phone system is one more thing we can take responsibility for, rather than one more supplier for you to chase.
Local support
Based in Kilmarnock, supporting businesses across Ayrshire, Scotland and beyond. When somebody needs to be on site, that's realistic.
One team
Phone system, broadband, WiFi, security, computers and Managed IT can all sit with the same team, so nobody spends their morning working out whose problem it is.
Real technicians
When something isn't working you speak to somebody who understands networks as well as phones, because the two are the same conversation.
Plain English
We'll explain what you actually need, and tell you when something isn't worth paying for.
Questions
The things people ask before changing their phone system.
If yours isn't here, just ask. We would rather have the conversation than have you guess.
What is a business VoIP phone system?
VoIP lets your business make and receive telephone calls over an internet connection rather than a traditional analogue phone line. With a cloud based system, your business numbers, extensions and call routing are managed online, letting staff use desk phones, computers or mobile apps.
What is a cloud PBX?
A PBX is the switchboard that decides where calls go inside a business. Traditionally it was a physical box in a cupboard. A cloud PBX phone system does the same job from the internet instead, so there is no hardware to install, and extensions, hunt groups and auto attendants can be changed without anyone visiting the building.
Can I keep my existing business phone number?
Usually, yes. Existing telephone numbers can normally be ported to the new service. We'll check your existing numbers and arrange the migration as part of moving your system wherever possible.
What happens if our internet goes down?
Because VoIP relies on connectivity, resilience matters. We can design the wider network alongside the phone system, including business broadband and optional mobile backup connectivity. Calls can also be routed to alternative devices or locations depending on how the system is configured.
Do we still need desk phones?
No. Users can make and receive calls using desktop software or a mobile app. But if your team prefers physical phones, we can provide and configure modern Yealink business handsets too.
Can staff use the same business number when working from home?
Yes. Because the phone system is cloud based, users can reach their extension from a supported desk phone, a mobile app or a computer, wherever they have a suitable internet connection.
Can VoIP transfer calls between different employees or departments?
Yes. We can configure extensions, hunt groups, call routing and auto attendants around your organisation. A customer can call one main business number and the system routes them to the right person or team.
Is VoIP suitable for a small business?
Yes. Cloud phone systems can work particularly well for small and growing businesses, because users can be added or changed without installing a traditional PBX in the building. The system grows as the team does.
What does a business VoIP system cost?
Every business is slightly different. The cost depends on factors including the number of users, whether you need desk phones, your existing numbers and the connectivity and network infrastructure already in place. We'll look at what you have, what you actually need and provide a clear proposal rather than forcing you into a predefined package.
Ready to talk?
Your next phone system probably doesn't need to live in your building.
Tell us how many people you have, how you use your phones and what you'd like to improve. We'll help you work out what the right setup actually looks like.
No hard sell. Just tell us what you've got and we'll take it from there.01563 574280
