A GAMING PC.
WITH A FOOTPRINT
SMALLER THAN A4.

Gaming PCs spent years getting bigger. The Pandora went the other way.

Its vertical architecture puts serious desktop hardware onto just 181 × 263 mm of desk space, smaller than a sheet of A4.

02 Open Pandora

More inside than makes sense.

Take the side panel off and the reason the Pandora works becomes obvious. Every component was chosen for where it sits, not just for what it scores.

The hard part isn't making a PC small. It's making a small PC good.

Inside the Pandora

Seven decisions that make the rest of the machine possible.

A smaller PC has nowhere to hide.

On a phone the markers come off — the notes below cover the same seven points.

04 Performance

Small PC.
Big numbers.

The Pandora uses the same desktop class processors and graphics hardware you’d expect to find in a much larger gaming PC.
The difference isn’t what goes inside.
It’s how we make it all work together inside 20.7 litres.
  • 1080p

    High refresh

    RTX 5060 Ti class

For fast 1080p gaming where frame rate matters more than resolution. Ideal for competitive games, high refresh monitors and anyone who’d rather spend their desk space on the screen than the PC.

  • 1440p

    The sweet spot

    RTX 5070 class

The balance we’d recommend to most Pandora buyers. Enough resolution to make modern games look properly sharp, with the performance headroom to turn the settings up and keep them there.

  • 4K

    Seriously

RTX 5070 Ti / RX 9070 XT class

Yes, the Pandora can do 4K. This is the upper end of what we build into the platform, where graphics card choice, cooling and power all need to be considered together. Tell us what you play and what monitor you use, and we’ll tell you whether it makes sense.

Measured on a Pandora

PANDORA TEST DATA / COMING SOON

05 Every millimetre

THE HARD PART ISN'T BUILDING A SMALL GAMING PC.
IT'S BUILDING ONE THAT PERFORMS LIKE A BIG ONE.

A full size tower gives you room to get things wrong. Extra space for cables. More room around the graphics card. Plenty of air to move heat away.

The Pandora doesn't have that luxury.

In a Mini ITX gaming PC, every component affects the one beside it. Cooling, airflow, power and cable routing have to work as one system. So we don't simply ask whether a component fits.

We ask whether it belongs there.
  • Graphics card

    Technically, it fits

The graphics card is shorter than the maximum GPU clearance.

    Engineered to work

Clearance on paper isn't the same as clearance in a finished PC. We check the card alongside the radiator, power connector, cable bend and the air trying to move around it. Everything has to fit at the same time.

  • Cooling

    Technically, it fits

The cooler sits within the chassis limits.

    Engineered to work

Cooling is matched to the processor and the space around it, not simply the socket. We consider sustained load, available airflow and noise, so the Pandora can stay fast without needing its fans to spend the evening at full speed.

  • Power

    Technically, it fits

The power supply is rated for the parts.

    Engineered to work

In a compact gaming PC, wattage is only part of the equation. Connector positions, cable lengths and GPU power demands all matter when there are only millimetres to spare. A cable that's six inches too long isn't inconvenient here. It would effect aitflow so doesn't make the cut.

  • Cable routing

    Technically, it fits

    The side panel closes.

    Engineered to work

Every cable needs somewhere to go without blocking an intake, pressing against a fan or restricting airflow. A full size tower gives you somewhere to hide the excess. Pandora doesn't.

  • Airflow

    Technically, it fits

    There are fans. They spin.

    Engineered to work

Good airflow isn't about adding more fans. It's about giving cool air a clear route in, giving hot air somewhere to go, and making sure the components between them don't get in the way. Fans move air. The layout decides where it goes.

  • Heat

    Technically, it fits

Every component remains within its individual specification.

    Engineered to work

A small form factor PC doesn't run as a collection of individual components. The graphics card warms the processor. The processor warms the air around the SSD. Everything shares the same 20.7 litres. So the Pandora is designed as a complete thermal system, not a collection of parts that happened to fit.

A smaller PC has nowhere to hide.

Most of this disappears the moment the side panel goes on.

That's the point.

You notice the engineering in the things that don't happen. Fans constantly ramping up. Performance dropping as temperatures rise. Cables fighting for space. A PC that gets louder the longer you play.

The Pandora is a 20.7 litre Mini ITX gaming PC designed to deliver the experience of a full size gaming desktop, without the full size footprint.

04 Where it lives

A PC has to live somewhere.

A smaller gaming PC isn't interesting because the numbers are smaller.

It's interesting because those numbers give you more choices about where your PC goes. On the desk. On a shelf. Beside the TV. Or under your arm on the way to a LAN.

Here's what 20.7 litres actually buys you.
  • Pandora compact gaming PC beside a monitor on a modern gaming desk

    181 mm wide

    On the desk

Narrow enough to sit beside your monitor without taking over the desk. Which is where a PC this good deserves to be. Not hidden underneath it, breathing carpet dust and occasionally meeting your foot.

  • Pandora compact gaming PC displayed on a wall shelf with warm backlighting

    435 mm tall

    On a shelf

The Pandora grows upwards rather than outwards, giving you full desktop hardware in a remarkably small footprint. Just remember to leave some breathing room above it. That's where the warm air goes.

  • Pandora compact gaming PC on a living room media unit beneath a wall mounted

    263 mm deep

    In a media unit

At just 263 mm deep, the Pandora is much easier to accommodate beside a TV or in furniture designed around consoles rather than full sized PC towers. A proper gaming PC without your living room having to rearrange itself around it.

  • Pandora compact gaming PC at a LAN party beside a gaming monitor and peripherals

    20.7 litres

    FOR THE LAN

The Pandora is still a proper desktop gaming PC. It just doesn't feel like moving furniture every time you want to take it somewhere. Another room. A LAN. University. A studio. A friend's house.

20.7 litres travels very differently from a full sized tower.

06 Built by Utopia

Small machine.
A lot of human work.

Every Pandora is built by one of our technicians in Kilmarnock, then stays with us until we’re happy to put our name on it.

Compact PCs reward patience. Component placement matters. Cable routing matters. Cooling matters. Even the order the machine is assembled can change what is possible.

So your Pandora isn’t rushed down a production line.

One technician. One machine. No shortcuts.
  1. Assembly

One technician builds your Pandora from start to finish. Components are positioned deliberately and the assembly order is planned around your exact configuration, because inside 20.7 litres, even the sequence matters. There isn’t much room for “we’ll sort that later.”

    BUILT BY HAND

  2. Routing and fit

Cables are measured, routed and secured away from fans and airflow paths. This is often one of the slowest parts of building your Pandora. It’s also one of the easiest parts to rush. So we don’t.

    EVERY MILLIMETRE COUNTS

  3. Firmware and configuration

BIOS settings, memory profiles, fan behaviour and drivers are configured around the components actually inside your Pandora. Not simply whatever settings happened to arrive in the box. Because building the hardware is only half the job.

    SET UP FOR YOUR HARDWARE

  4. Memory validation

Memory is tested for errors and stability before we move on. An unstable PC can pass a quick benchmark and still cause strange crashes weeks later. We’d rather find that here.

TRUST IT AFTER WE TEST IT

  5. Sustained load

The processor and graphics card are loaded together while we monitor temperatures, clock speeds and system behaviour. Short benchmarks can make almost any PC look good. With a compact gaming PC, what matters is what happens after everything inside it is already warm. That’s the test your Pandora has to pass.

HOT IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING

  6. Final inspection

Before your Pandora is packed, somebody looks at the whole machine again. Build quality. Cable finish. Cooling. Configuration. Visible components. The things software can test, and the things it can’t. Only then does it leave our bench.

05 Living with it

BUILDING YOUR MINI GAMING PC

Why compact design changes the rules.

Dust

A compact chassis pulls the same air through smaller openings, so the filters load up faster than they would in a tower. Rinse them every few months and leave the intakes and the top clear. That is genuinely the whole routine.

Clearance

Cooler height and graphics card size are decided by the chassis, not by preference. That’s why Pandora offers a shorter, carefully chosen component list.

Upgrades

Mini ITX typically means one graphics card and two memory slots. Worth knowing what that allows before you buy rather than two years later, and worth asking us if you are not sure.

Support

If your Pandora ever needs hands on work, you can send it back to us in Kilmarnock rather than working inside it yourself. It’s covered by our 10 year labour warranty and lifetime technical support, and we’ll still have the original build notes.

We make the difficult decisions at build time, so you don't have to discover them later.

03 / CHOOSE YOUR PLATFORM

AMD OR INTEL. WE’LL BUILD AROUND IT.

Choose the platform that suits what you do. We’ll balance the cooling, power and components around it, because in 20.7 litres every choice affects the next one.

AMD

Ryzen

Our usual starting point for a Pandora built primarily for gaming. Efficiency matters more in a compact machine, because heat you don’t create is heat the chassis doesn’t have to move.

BEST FOR:

  • Gaming first
  • High refresh rate gaming
  • Strong performance per watt
AMD / OUR GAMING PICK

INTEL

Core Ultra

A strong choice when your Pandora needs to do more than game. Ideal for machines balancing gaming with content creation, productivity or heavier mixed workloads.

BEST FOR:

  • Gaming + creation
  • Heavy multitasking
  • Mixed workloads

06 / Questions

The questions small machines get asked

Does a smaller PC run hotter?

It has less air inside it to work with, so cooling has to be designed rather than assumed. That is the actual difference. In a full tower you can put almost any cooler next to almost any graphics card and get away with it; in 20.7 litres the cooler, the card and the airflow paths are one decision rather than three, and we make that decision before the machine is built rather than leaving you to find out.

Is a compact gaming PC noisy?

It can be, and small machines built carelessly usually are — smaller fans moving the same air have to spin faster to do it. The answer is airflow design rather than more fans, which is why the intake and exhaust paths matter as much as the cooler does. Where you put it matters too: a compact PC shut inside a cupboard will be loud no matter how it was built.

Am I giving up performance to get something this small?

Not in the class of hardware. The Pandora takes full desktop processors and desktop graphics cards, not laptop parts in a desktop case. What you give up is the very top of the graphics range, where the cards are physically too large or produce more heat than this chassis can reasonably move. If you need that top tier, one of our larger gaming PCs is the better answer and we will say so.

Which graphics cards fit in the Pandora?

The configurator only lists cards that physically fit and that we are willing to cool in this chassis, so the list you see when you configure a Pandora is the current answer. We would rather point you there than print a model number on a page, because the catalogue stays up to date and a page does not.

How much does a Pandora cost?

The starting price is on the two platform cards further up this page, and it buys a complete machine: built, cabled, tested under load, with the operating system installed and the warranty and support included. From there the configurator adds or subtracts as you change parts, so the figure you see in the basket is the figure you pay.

Can I upgrade it later?

Yes, within what Mini ITX allows: one graphics card, two memory slots, and NVMe storage. That is worth understanding before you buy rather than two years afterwards. Tell us what you think you might want to add later and we will factor it into the build now, which usually costs nothing and saves a lot.

How much desk space does it actually need?

435 mm tall, 181 mm wide and 263 mm deep. The footprint it occupies on a desk is smaller than a sheet of A4 paper, because it uses height rather than width. Leave the top and the intakes clear and it will sit happily beside a monitor rather than under the desk.

Can I take it to a LAN?

That is a large part of the point. At 20.7 litres it is roughly the volume of a cabin bag and goes in a car without a conversation beforehand. Pack it properly rather than putting it loose in a boot — it is still a desktop PC, and the graphics card is still the heaviest thing in it.

How do you deliver a Pandora?

Fully built, tested and packed, by insured courier, anywhere in the UK. It arrives set up the way it left the workshop with nothing to assemble at your end. Being compact genuinely helps here: there is less mass and less leverage inside the case than there is in a full tower, which is one of the quieter advantages of a small machine.

How long does a Pandora take to build?

Every machine is built and tested to order rather than picked off a shelf, and working inside a compact chassis takes longer than working inside a tower. Once your specification is agreed we will give you a realistic window and keep you updated as it progresses.

What is covered if something goes wrong?

Our labour is covered by a 10 Year Labour Warranty, and technical support does not expire. Phone us before you take a panel off — that call is free, and most owners send the machine back to Kilmarnock rather than working inside it, which is exactly what we would recommend.

How is the Pandora different from your other gaming PCs?

Same class of hardware, dramatically less of your room. The Pandora is the answer when the machine has to fit somewhere a tower will not, or travel, or share a space you also live in. If none of that applies to you, our other gaming PCs give you more headroom at the top of the graphics range and more room to upgrade later.
